On behalf of RUDESAT International, I take great pride in welcoming you to our website. We are a nascent NGO registered only in May 2008. And spurred by the numerous exciting opportunities presented by our organization, we have given unstintingly of our time, commitment and financial resources in the quest to grow quickly and steadily. We have however had to contend with diverse circumstances that have determined our rate of growth. Of course these were unforeseeable at registration, but in a way, conform with the assertion by Bayley and Roger Mavity in their masterpiece titled “Life’s is a pitch – how to sell yourself and your brilliant ideas”. They say in there, and I paraphrase them, “Life is not a pattern of gradually evolving improvement. It’s a series of long, fallow patches punctuated by moments of crucial change. How you handle the long fallow stretches doesn’t matter much. How you handle the moments of change is vital”. What we did not foresee was the fallow patches that would and did punctuate our efforts.

However, for us the publication of this website marks a moment of crucial change from a patchy road to one that is reasonably uniform. In our context, one that brings to our readers new and useful information regularly. On this score, I am willing to officially invite you to visit us whenever your time permits. We do not guarantee that you will find something new each time you visit us. What we guarantee is that we will avoid subjecting you to the kinds of patches that characterized our formative stages. Feel free to share with us your comments on the many and diverse issues you will be reading about on our website. That way we both gain. As those in the know will say, information is the only commodity that multiplies as it is shared.
